Cross between ‘Kordia’ and ‘Vic’.
Late
Ripening is very late, during the seventh sweet cherry weeks (2 Dec 2012 in Bathurst). The flowering time is medium late and flowers are relatively less susceptible to spring frosts.
Medium to large fruit. Fruit weight from 8.5 to 9g. Average 26 to 28mm.
Dark red.
Taste is very good.
Other pollinator is Regina cherry.
Comments
Trees are medium vigorous. The canopy is spreading and moderately thick. Trees are precocious, yields are very high and regular. Fruits are moderately resistant to cracking and to Monilinia fruit rot.
This cultivar is recommended for regions with a higher rainfall. It is also suitable for growing on dwarf rootstocks.
